Today Blackmagic Design announced Cloud Store 1.0.3 update which adds support for synchronization with Google Drive. This means in addition to existing Dropbox sync, you can now set up a local cache of your Google Drive files. This makes them instantly available to anyone on your network without the need to download them from the internet each time. It also allows you to sync multiple Blackmagic Cloud Stores so people in different geographic locations can collaborate without latency because everyone has a local copy of the files.
This update also lets you open Finder windows and Windows Explorer directly from the Blackmagic Cloud Store utility, making it faster and easier to connect to your network as well as access files.
With improved stability, you also get better performance when moving files with extremely long names. Plus, it’s now easier synchronizing large directories with these same files, making for a smoother workflow.
