距離2019年8月推出Blackmagic Pocket 6K到現在已經有一段時日，對大部分的人來說，這真的是突然且絕對意想不到的驚奇，因為Pocket 口袋機4K (#BMPCC4K)在幾個月前才剛推出。而哪一台攝影機才是你的最佳選擇，有著許多困惑是可理解的，兩者之間的差異及細節蠻細微。
僅靠快速查閱兩者的規格表，可能會讓你忽略了一些兩台各自重要的功能，而對於兩者價格上的評估當然也很必要。因此，為了獲得專家在這些方面的意見，我們造訪了Caleb Pike的頻道，也就是DSLR Video Shooter。
根據Caleb評論攝影機的經驗，對兩台攝影機指出嚴苛的部分，這將幫助你為你的工作流程選擇適合你的攝影機。讓我們直接進入主題，瞭解重點。
除了從產品名稱上就看得出來的明顯不同：一台可拍攝6K、另一台則最多到4K，還有一些其他的不同。若選擇6K機型，你將只能以6K Raw進行拍攝，完全沒有辦法以4K Raw拍攝，但會選擇Pocket 6K，其原因基本上你應該就是要拍6K。
就算你的拍攝大部分為4K，而如果你的工作流程涉及ProRes，那就應該還是考慮選擇6K，為什麼呢？因為就像許多人所說，如果你在BMPCC6K攝影機切換成ProRes，你喪失了較高的解析度，但你仍可用到整個感光元件（Full Sensor）或經裁切的4K。
也就是說，你可有效的獲取6K片門全開所接收到的資料（Open-Gate Readout），然後降轉成4K，因而獲得更乾淨銳利的影像。
房間裡的另一頭大象（是的！房間目前是蠻擁擠的）是裁切係數（Crop Factor）。數學會告訴你6K有1.558x的裁切係數，另一邊的4K的裁切係數則為1.9x，這重要嗎？嗯，如果你常拍廣角的話，那這就很重要。
從下面直接比較的圖片，你不難發現4K的視野（Field of View – FOV）明顯較小，但這會是問題嗎？也許不會，就算你不考慮昂貴的Metabones Speed Booster 0.64x，還有許多其他可降低裁切係數的不同廠牌轉換環，有些甚至可讓FOV變得比6K還大。
因此，此時此刻因你有著各種不同的可能性，Pocket 4K(#BMPCC4K)變成較佳的選擇。 然而，情況一定會有所改變，因為Speed Boosters的6K版本已經在路上了，但以目前來說，事情就是這樣。
如果你的工作除了FOV之外，對於音訊的要求也很高的話，那麼FOV就真的不是重點了。Pocket 6K降低感光元件溫度的風扇啟動時聲音蠻大的，你必須注意這一點。
沒有什麼事是無法處理的，但你必須要有所準備，在拍攝時，準備好一堆LP-E6電池就對了，因為電池會像是雞尾酒派對的花生一樣，很快的被6K吃個精光。
那麼，全都處於下風嗎？非也！Pocket 6K有它的特質，大部分是因為其較高的解析度。然而，4K機型展現了它是一台以預算為導向的攝影機，這一點一眼就看得出來。
除了兩者價差約一千美金之外，M4/3鏡頭接環能使用更多的鏡頭，就算你再加上最貴的Speed Booster轉接環，也還低於BMPCC 6K的售價。那麼，什麼是你的考量？解析度還是預算？最終還是要由你自己來決定。
